We work with self-produced green electricity and are constantly expanding our product range with fitness equipment made from natural materials such as leather, wood and cork. The production location in Europe is one of our minimum requirements.

THE JOURNEY BEGAN OVER 40 YEARS AGO

Ludwig Artzt GmbH was founded in 1981 by its namesake Ludwig Artzt. Initially working as a sales representative in the medical technology sector, he recognised the potential of the physiotherapy and fitness industry early on, as did the world-famous Theraband, which Ludwig presented at German trade fairs and congresses as the official German representative from the late 1980s onwards. Together with his sons Felix and Philipp, "Mr Thera-Band" travelled all over Germany. With the famous fitness band in his luggage, he finally said: "You're finally here!"

Over the years, the "doctors" managed to establish TheraBand as a synonym for fitness and quality. Other quality brands followed and are still regularly added to the wide range of products today. Today, ARTZT is managed by the second generation of Felix Artzt.

The experience and scientific findings from over 40 years of expertise in sport, athletics and physiotherapy have gone into every single ARTZT product. This is what makes the difference that you can feel during training.
